'Samoreau' represents the culmination of a trilogy of recordings that explore the deeper historical and humanistic connotations underlying the 'Gypsy-jazz' style created by Django Reinhardt (1910-1953) that has spread far and wide across the world today. While the first two albums ‘Souvenirs’ and ‘Koblenz’ respectively consist of the original compositions of Django Reinhardt and my own original compositions about the life of Django Reinhardt, this third album - also consisting of my original compositions - explores themes of universal humanity that are alluded to within the first two albums.
